Vote for our Design Democracy Blog Awards and give your favourite blogger the chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime: being an official blogger for the London Design Festival this September.
In the words of our lovely CEO Nicole, “mydeco’s DNA is design democracy”.
Whether it’s enabling anyone with a computer and internet connection to design a fabulous room for free, or encouraging you happy homeowners across the UK (and now the US!) to comment on what floats your boat and what makes your stomach turn just to look at, we are as proud as punch to be a truly democratic organisation.
And since bloggers across the globe, from fashion to finance to cricket to interiors, foster a democratic spirit minute upon minute, sentence upon sentence, what better way to celebrate this online revolution than by hosting our first ever Design Democracy Blog Awards?
In conjunction with the London Design Festival, the awards are as follows:
* Best independent blog
* Best professional blog
* Best newcomer
And if that’s not enough, our fantastic Design Board, which includes Sir Terence Conran, Phillipe Starck, Kelly Hoppen, Marc Newson, Tara Bernerd and Kirstie Allsopp, will select a fourth overall mydeco Design Democracy Blog Awards winner: Best interior design blog in Great Britain.
Voting is now closed. You can see the winners at mydeco.com/designdemocracy

I love looking at the Dear Designer’s Blog. I find it very relaxing when looking at beautiful rooms, houses and accessories. The styles colours are great and really bring forward the personality of “Dear Designer”. A gifted inspiration for beautiful things……………
To be honest http://www.freshome.com is one of the best, just check it and you’ll be hooked.
Nick Clarke is a very talented writer. Every article is edgy and sharp. If you want to know what’s in and what’s not http://www.gunpowder-magazine.com is the best blog by far!!!!!!
My vote is for Kate Baxter – http://www.fabricofmylife.co.uk/
“the fabric of my life is an inspirations blog which i started in may 2009, as a magpie’s nest where i could hoard all of my favourite inspirational finds. for me, it was all about rediscovering my passions and my personal style, developing my tastes and using all of these things to encourage and develop my role as an interior stylist. Voted for the times online’s list of top 50 design blogs!” Plus being my Girlfriends best mate! Thank you . Mr.C

My favorite blogger is Jenny Voyce – http://trends.voyce.com
She knows how to share her passion for design!!! I’ve followed her blog since she started in 2009 and I enjoy her witty style of writing. She keeps me up to date with her reports about products she has seen on the different Design Shows around the world. Have a look at her blog! It has nice pictures as well.
My nomination goes to Jenny Voyce’s Design Trends. Just read her latest post to find out why! http://trends.voyce.com/
I voted for toriejayne.blogspot.com/. Not only would it seem that the lady is a very tasteful domestic godess. Shes great with colour and composistions. Her references are always interesting and broader then her personal taste. A little light relieve from the day to day…
I keep nominating blogs but not idea if I am doing right!! I even entered my own one but hasn’t got any reply just yet. I hope I am doing it right!!
