A German tourist got a better picture than he was hoping for when a Royal Guardsman tripped over in front of bemused onlookers whilst on patrol duty outside Buckingham Palace.

The unlucky guard slipped over on loose gravel and took an undignified tumble in front of dozens of tourists. Unfortunately for the shamefaced guardsman, a German schoolboy managed to film the whole thing on his camera phone.  See the full story and video here on the Sun Website.
