Take the biggest dog in television and one of the most famous names in retail, and what do you get? That’s easy, you get a multi-billion dollar international entertainment company!

Two of Britain’s most scarily successful businessmen, Simon Cowell and Sir Philip Green, have decided to work together for their latest venture. The high profile pair, who have been chummy for over a decade, plan to base their new entertainment company in London and LA. It is set to cover the full spectrum of showbusiness – from television production, to talent management to merchandising.

Can Cowell cope with sharing power with his new business partner Philip Green?

A source close to the pair states: ‘They’re thinking in terms of a new Disney. What they’re planning is really that big… they are talking about making profits running into billions.”

Sticking to what they each do best, Cowell, 49, will oversee the production of the television shows, while Sir Philip, the ninth wealthiest man in Britain, will deal with finances, strategy and merchandise. Never short of ambition, the pair aim to own all the rights and content of Cowell’s hugely popular shows, such as Britain’s Got Talent, American Idol and The X-Factor.

Even the dire financial climate can’t deter this determined duo from taking the plunge and launching their new company. But when you consider that Cowell has been responsible for producing the most popular television show of the last decade, Britain’s Got Talent, we hardly dare to doubt their success.

We never underestimated these two, but is the world quite ready for CowGreen domination?!
